This is the full first-use guide for the ArenaPlus app on iOS. It covers the App Store install, account registration, KYC verification, your first deposit through GCash or Maya, and the security settings worth turning on before you place your first bet. Allow about ten to fifteen minutes for the whole process, depending on KYC turnaround.
Before you start: checklist
Have these ready and the rest of the setup runs smoothly.
- You are 21 or older (PAGCOR requirement).
- You are physically located in the Philippines.
- You have a valid government ID: PhilID, UMID, passport, or driving license.
- You have an active Philippine mobile number.
- Your iOS device meets minimum specs: iPhone or iPad on iOS or iPadOS 13.0 or later, Mac on macOS 12.3 or later with an Apple M1 chip or later, or Apple Vision on visionOS 1.0 or later.
- You have a funded GCash or Maya wallet for your first deposit.
Step 1: Install the ArenaPlus app on iOS
- Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision device.
- Search for ArenaPlus.
- Confirm the listing is by AB Leisure Exponent, Inc. This is the only authentic developer name. If you see anything else, stop and read Is the ArenaPlus app safe? before continuing.
- Tap Get and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.
- Once installed, tap Open.
- Allow notifications when prompted, so you receive bet settlement alerts and security notices.
For more on iOS-specific install troubleshooting, see the iOS download guide.
Step 2: Register your ArenaPlus account
You can register inside the app or on the web at either arenaplus.ph or register.arenaplus.ph. Whichever you choose, the same credentials work in both places.
- Tap Register on the welcome screen.
- Enter your active Philippine mobile number.
- Set a strong password: a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Don’t reuse passwords from other accounts.
- Enter the SMS verification code sent to your phone.
- Confirm your date of birth. You must be 21 or older.
- Accept the terms and conditions and confirm you’ve read the responsible gaming policy.
Your account is now created, but it isn’t fully verified yet. KYC is the next step.
Step 3: Complete KYC verification
KYC stands for “Know Your Customer.” It’s the regulatory check that confirms you are who you say you are. ArenaPlus runs KYC because PAGCOR requires it, and because it protects your account and your funds.
- From the account menu, tap Verify Identity.
- Upload a clear photo of a valid government-issued ID: PhilID, UMID, passport, or driving license. Avoid glare, shadows, and blurred edges.
- Take a selfie following the on-screen prompts. Good lighting and a plain background help the system process it faster.
- Enter your full name, date of birth, and address exactly as they appear on the ID.
- Wait for the system to confirm verification.
A few practical notes:
- Withdrawal is locked until KYC is complete. This is a PAGCOR requirement, not an ArenaPlus restriction.
- You can deposit and bet while KYC is pending, depending on the app’s current policy, but you can’t cash out winnings until verification clears.
- If verification stalls or you receive a rejection, contact in-app live chat with your registration date and the ID you uploaded. ArenaPlus support will guide you through resubmission.
Step 4: Make your first deposit
The ArenaPlus app supports GCash and Maya. Both deposit instantly when authorized.
- Tap Deposit from the home tab.
- Choose GCash or Maya as your payment method.
- Enter the deposit amount.
- Authorize the transfer in your GCash or Maya app. Your e-wallet credentials never leave the e-wallet app, so ArenaPlus never sees them.
- Funds appear in your ArenaPlus wallet straight away.
For the latest welcome bonus tied to your first deposit, check promotions.arenaplus.ph. Bonus terms change, so always read the live page before opting in.
Step 5: Configure your account for security
Before you place a bet, take two minutes to lock the account down.
- Enable biometric login through Face ID or Touch ID. It’s faster than typing a password and significantly safer.
- Set deposit and session limits under Responsible Gaming. You can adjust these later, but starting with a clear ceiling is sensible.
- Enable push notifications for bet settlements, withdrawal confirmations, and security alerts. They’re your early warning if something goes wrong.
- Add a backup email to your account profile, so account recovery has a second route.
Step 6: Place your first bet
You’re now ready to bet.
- Choose a sport from the home tab: PBA, NBA, PVL, soccer, tennis, or any of the other sports listed in App features.
- Tap a fixture and select your market.
- Tap an odds button to add the selection to your bet slip.
- Enter your stake.
- Confirm and place the bet.
After the event finishes, you’ll receive a push notification with the result and the wallet adjustment.
Common setup issues and fixes
A few problems come up often enough to be worth addressing here.
- KYC stuck in pending for a long time: Contact in-app live chat. Provide your registration date and the type of ID you uploaded. The team will check your case and prompt you for any clarification.
- Deposit failed: Confirm your GCash or Maya wallet has enough balance. Confirm the mobile number on the e-wallet matches the number you registered with on ArenaPlus. Mismatched numbers are a common block.
- App crashes on launch: Check for an App Store update first. If the app is current, restart your device. Reinstall as a last resort.
- OTP not arriving: Check your Philippine mobile signal. Wait 60 seconds, then request a resend. If a second attempt still fails, contact support.
- App Store says “Not Available in Your Country”: Switch your Apple ID region to the Philippines under Settings > [Your Name] > Media & Purchases.
Where to get help
Three official channels:
- In-app live chat, available around the clock.
- Help center on [arenaplus.ph](https://arenaplus.ph).
- Verified social channels: Facebook (arenaplusofficial), X (@arenaplusph), Instagram (arenaplusph), TikTok (@arenaplusph). These were published in ArenaPlus’s January 2026 brand-protection statement as the only authentic accounts.
If you’re contacted by anyone claiming to be ArenaPlus support outside these channels, treat it as suspicious. Real support never asks for your password or full payment card details over chat.
